ZIONS !!

When we first moved to Southern Utah, Zion National Park used to be the place we would take any and all people who would come to visit us. But since then we have found other closer spots until this past February. On the Monday, of President weekend we again returned to Zions! We were surprised to find snow there and temperatures that were cooler than we would have liked. But that did not stop us from enjoying a short hike, a picnic, and of course the ride through the tunnel with only a few honks!

January in Southern Utah!

Definitely one of the advantages of living in Southern Utah is a warm sunny day in January. The sun comes out often during the winter but you can't beat the fact that 50 miles away from home we can enjoy a hike and picnic while Cedar City is under snow and cold temperatures. January 19, we went to Snows Canyon, for the first time, and hiked these rock formations and soaked up the sun!
